Since its establishment in 2000, the Abruzzo and Molise Heritage Society has served as a vital cultural anchor for the Italian American community in Washington, DC. Born from the vision of Abruzzesi and Molisani natives and their descendants who recognized the importance of preserving the distinct traditions of these two Italian regions, AMHS has grown into a welcoming organization that extends its embrace to anyone passionate about Italian culture and heritage. The Society's mission centers on fostering deep connections to Italy's rich traditions and values while building community bonds among members in the Washington, DC area.
