Albanian American Bar Association
About Albanian American Bar Association
Founded in 2010 by the Honorable Robert N. Tochka, the Albanian American Bar Association emerged as the first organization of its kind, bringing together law students, lawyers, and judges to celebrate and strengthen the Albanian-American legal community. This historic organization in Boston, Massachusetts, carries a powerful mission: to unite Albanian-American legal professionals, nurture the next generation of attorneys, and inspire meaningful civic engagement within both the legal profession and broader communities.
The AABA's founding reflected Judge Tochka's deep commitment to mentorship and community advancement. His vision transformed into a vibrant organization that has spent over a decade supporting Albanian-American legal professionals in building relationships, expanding knowledge, and discovering opportunities for growth. The organization recognizes that representation and community matter—that Albanian-American lawyers deserve spaces where they can connect authentically, learn from one another, and collectively contribute to their profession and society.
Today, the Boston-based association continues this legacy through diverse initiatives including community engagement programs, educational pathways for aspiring lawyers, and charitable work that extends support to communities in need. The AABA serves as both a professional network and a cultural touchstone, honoring the heritage and contributions of Albanian-Americans in the legal field while empowering future generations to become advocates for individuals, businesses, governments, and their own communities. For Albanian-American legal professionals seeking connection, mentorship, and purpose, the AABA represents a thriving community dedicated to mutual success and shared values.
