About Albanian Heritage Festival
1st Albanian festival in Upstate New York!
Join us for the 1st Annual Albanian Festival, a vibrant, family-friendly celebration honoring the rich heritage, traditions, and resilience of the Albanian people in the Capital Region and beyond.
This inaugural festival brings together the Albanian community to share traditional food, music, dance, art, storytelling, and local Albanian-owned businesses, while welcoming the broader community to experience the beauty and depth of Albanian culture.

Albanians of all ages are encouraged to apply to be vendors and will receive priority placement (free for vendors 17 years old and younger).
Limited spots for non-Albanian vendors may be available.

Albany and the surrounding areas are home to a strong and growing Albanian presence. This festival is the first of its kind in the region—created to celebrate our roots, uplift our people, and build meaningful connections across generations.
More than a cultural event, the Albanian Festival also centers on mental health awareness and community well-being. As a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to supporting mental health, Noteworthy Resources is committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where conversations about mental health are normalized, resources are accessible, and community support is strengthened—especially within immigrant and refugee communities.
Whether you are Albanian, part of the Balkan diaspora, or simply curious to learn more, this festival is an invitation to celebrate culture, honor resilience, and come together in community. We look forward to welcoming you to a day filled with pride, connection, and celebration.

Established in 2017, Noteworthy Resources has been in support of individuals with mental health struggles—especially those in underserved and neurodivergent communities—by cultivating strong peer connections, promoting ADHD awareness, helping people access therapy and essential resources, and empowering them to self-advocate. While we do not operate a dedicated physical space full-time, we strategically partner with local libraries and community organizations across the Capital Region to deliver our programs in accessible, welcoming environments that reduce barriers to participation. Mission: We are dedicated to supporting people with mental health struggles in cultivating strong peer connections, securing essential therapy and resources, and fostering self-advocacy. Vision: To create a world where essential mental health resources and meaningful peer support are accessible to all who need them, without exception. To make this vision a reality, we actively educate schools, workplaces, and the wider community on how to meet the social and emotional needs of people with mental health conditions. As a small but ever-evolving organization, we're committed to creating a significant impact throughout the Capital District of NY.
