Alliance Française de Pittsburgh is part of the larger Alliance Française corporation spanning worldwide. Our mission is to increase knowledge and appreciation of French Language and Francophone history and culture. We strive to create a safe and accepting environment of allies and friends with a passion for learning, teaching, and partaking in our cultural experiences.
Here at L'Alliance Française, we encourage the study of French language and literature, francophone culture, arts, history, and entertainment. We sponsor and promote activities in all of these areas in an efforts to increase awareness and understanding of Francophone culture.
