Alliance Francaise de Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill

For over 140 years, the Alliance Française has been building bridges between people through the shared language and cultures of the francophone world. The Alliance Française de Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill carries on this proud tradition as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization rooted in the Raleigh, NC community. We are driven by a simple yet powerful mission: to build meaningful connections through French language and cultures while fostering exchanges and friendships among francophiles of all walks of life throughout the Triangle region. Our vision is to become the premier hub for all things French in Eastern North Carolina—a welcoming space where language learners, cultural enthusiasts, and international friends gather to celebrate the beauty of francophone heritage. As part of a global network that spans 138 countries, we connect local learners to an international community united by appreciation for French language and culture. We believe that language learning transcends grammar and vocabulary; it's about creating genuine human connections and understanding different perspectives. Whether you're drawn to French cinema, cuisine, literature, literature, or simply wish to communicate with French speakers around the world, our community welcomes you. We invite you to join us in Raleigh as we celebrate the richness of francophone cultures and build lasting friendships across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Together, we're creating a vibrant cultural center that honors the Alliance Française's 140-year legacy of international understanding and connection.
