Founded on December 27, 1985, the American Polish Cultural Society in Troy, MI emerged from humble beginnings with just 15 members and has blossomed into a vibrant cultural hub serving the Polish-American community across Michigan. What began as a small grassroots organization grew to over 900 members by 1989, prompting the search for a suitable meeting place that resulted in acquiring the historic 12-acre property that now serves as the American Polish Cultural Center. The organization pursues charitable, literary, educational, and fraternal purposes that strengthen cultural bonds within the Polish-American community.
