ANAKBAYAN (“Sons and Daughters of the People”) is a comprehensive national democratic youth and student organization.
ANAKBAYAN upholds the interests and demands of the Filipino youth and the people by educating, organizing, and mobilizing them to fight for jobs and wages, land, education, civil rights, and social services for Filipinos here in the U.S. and the Philippines.
ANAKBAYAN believes youth are agents of social change and thus aims to build unity among Filipino youth of all backgrounds — immigrant, US-born/raised, student, working, LGBTIQ, women, artists, etc — to create systemic change.
Anakbayan is a youth and student organization working to educate, organize, and mobilize our community to address important issues that affect Filipinos in the US and the Philippines. We aim to unite Filipino youth of all backgrounds in order to achieve genuine freedom and democracy in the Philippines.
