Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Southwest Ohio
About Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Southwest Ohio
Founded in 2014 by founding president Alexander Song, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Southwest Ohio has grown into a vital community for Asian Pacific American legal professionals in Cincinnati and the broader Southwest Ohio region. The organization was established with a clear mission: to connect Asian Pacific American lawyers with one another and with the larger Asian Pacific American community throughout Southwest Ohio, including areas around Dayton and Northern Kentucky. APABA-SO is committed to three core objectives that guide its work: promoting the advancement and professional development of Asian Pacific American attorneys, supporting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession, and advancing the interests of the broader Asian Pacific American community. Beyond professional networking, APABA-SO fosters meaningful relationships among members through a variety of engaging events, from intimate monthly lunches to thought-provoking fireside chats and social gatherings. The organization recognizes that professional success is built on community and collaboration, which is why it actively partners with other Asian Pacific American interest groups to expand opportunities for its members. As part of the larger NAPABA network, APABA-SO represents the values and aspirations of Asian Pacific American legal professionals seeking to make an impact in their communities while supporting one another's growth and success in Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio.
