Association of Minnesota Chinese Physicians
About Association of Minnesota Chinese Physicians
Rooted in the Minneapolis, Minnesota community, the Association of Minnesota Chinese Physicians (AMCP) represents a commitment to accessible healthcare and professional excellence. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, AMCP unites physicians of Chinese heritage with a shared dedication to community service, professional growth, and advancing patient care through collaborative efforts. The organization operates the Minnesota Chinese Health Center (MCHC), a free volunteer clinic providing essential healthcare services not only to ethnic Chinese patients but to the broader local population as well. Beyond clinical care, AMCP empowers the community through regular public health education seminars focused on promoting healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and early recognition of health concerns. AMCP's vision extends internationally, facilitating meaningful exchanges and interactions between medical professionals in Minnesota and China to advance healthcare development on both sides of the Pacific. The organization welcomes diverse perspectives, including non-Chinese physicians interested in supporting its mission of bridging cultures and improving medical practice. Through its established extension, the U.S.-China Healthcare Information Exchange (USCHIE), AMCP continues building bridges between American and Chinese healthcare systems, offering free resources and interactive platforms for professionals seeking to collaborate across borders and enhance patient outcomes through international cooperation.
