BAYAN USA represents a vibrant coalition of Filipino organizations rooted in Los Angeles, CA, dedicated to serving as a bridge between overseas Filipinos and the progressive movement in the Philippines. The organization brings together students, scholars, women, workers, artists, and youth in a unified effort to advance justice, dignity, and self-determination for the Filipino people. As the first and largest international chapter of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN Philippines), BAYAN USA carries forward a legacy of anti-imperialist struggle and community empowerment. The organization is committed to strengthening Filipino unity in the United States while actively building international solidarity with all peoples fighting against imperialism, feudalism, and corruption. BAYAN USA works to connect the daily struggles of Filipinos in America—issues of workers' rights, immigrant justice, and community welfare—to the broader national democratic struggle in the Philippines.
