Founded in 1872 at Syracuse University by ten forward-thinking women, Alpha Phi International has evolved into one of the world's oldest and largest women's fraternities, with the Beta Pi Chapter established at the University of Southern California in 1945. Today, this vibrant student organization in Los Angeles, CA, serves as a cornerstone of sisterhood, connecting members through a shared commitment to excellence, community support, and personal growth.
The Beta Pi Chapter honors the original spirit of Alpha Phi by fostering a "spirit of love and charity" that has remained central to the organization's mission for over 150 years. Members are united by their desire to support one another and make meaningful contributions to their communities, embodying the values of leaders, scholars, and contributors. In recent years, the Beta Pi Chapter has demonstrated a profound commitment to accountability and transformation.
