Beta Pi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. represents one of 22 member organizations within the Black African Coalition at Arizona State University, serving the Tempe, Arizona campus community since the Coalition's establishment in 1991. Founded on principles of unity, sisterhood, and mutual support, Beta Pi Chapter embodies the Coalition's commitment to uplifting Black and African students while fostering a strong sense of belonging on campus.
The chapter is rooted in the broader mission of the Black African Coalition, which strives to unite Black and African students across all four ASU campuses while working to increase student enrollment, retention, and meaningful involvement. This commitment reflects the Coalition's dedication to embedding a thriving Black presence through authentic community and campus programming that resonates with students' lived experiences and aspirations.
