About Black History Month Kids Activity Day
Join the African American Advisory Committee of Tempe History Museum for a fun, interactive kids' day to celebrate Black History Month! There will be hands-on activities, games, a book vendor, story time and more. This fun, free event is for the whole family.

The museum explores Tempe history through collections, research services, exhibits, and programs that captivate and connect with audiences throughout the community and beyond. Visitors can explore four thematic areas: College Town, Building Our Community, Living Together and Surviving in the Desert. Our Kid's Place children's gallery offers young visitors the chance to explore, play and spend time with family and new friends. The museum also curates a changing gallery space in the main exhibit hall, as well as exhibit space in the Community Room.
