Founded on the belief that "What They See Is What They'll Be," 100 Black Men of San Antonio, Inc. has been transforming lives in San Antonio, Texas for over two decades through dedicated mentorship and community engagement. Established in 1999 as part of the national 100 Black Men of America movement, this organization brings together professional men who serve as mentors and role models, demonstrating through their presence and involvement that success is achievable for all young people. The mission centers on improving quality of life and enhancing educational and economic opportunities for San Antonio residents, particularly youth facing systemic barriers. What distinguishes 100 Black Men of San Antonio is its holistic approach to youth development—addressing physical, spiritual, intellectual, moral, and economic dimensions of growth. The organization serves as a beacon of leadership in the community, utilizing the diverse talents and expertise of its members to create supportive environments where children envision their potential and build confidence in their futures. Beyond direct youth services, the organization actively engages with community partners, school districts, and city leaders to amplify impact and create systemic change. With 60 mentors currently engaged in youth development and a track record of meaningful outcomes, 100 Black Men of San Antonio represents a commitment to breaking cycles of poverty and disenfranchisement.
