About Blacks In Technology Philadelphia
Our goal and mission is to “stomp the divide” between Black tech workers and to fundamentally influence and effect change on an industry that has historically not sought parity with respect to Black workers. Our intent is to level the playing field through training, education, networking, and mentorship with the support of allies, partners, sponsors, and most importantly our global members.

Blacks In Technology (BIT) Foundation
The technology industry continues to face measurable gaps in representation, access, and advancement for professionals from historically underrepresented communities. These disparities span the full career lifecycle—from early skills development and workforce entry to leadership, entrepreneurship, and equitable compensation—limiting both individual opportunity and the industry’s ability to fully leverage diverse talent.
The Blacks In Technology Foundation addresses these challenges by building scalable pathways to inclusion, economic mobility, and long-term career success in technology. Through workforce training, education initiatives, mentorship, and professional networking, the Foundation is “stomping the divide” by equipping individuals with the skills, connections, and support needed to compete and thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
Our work is strengthened through strategic partnerships with corporations, philanthropic organizations, and community stakeholders who share a commitment to inclusive growth and innovation. Together, we advance solutions that expand access to opportunity, strengthen the talent pipeline, and deliver measurable impact for individuals, organizations, and the broader technology ecosystem.
