About Brave Soul 20: The Anniversary Performance

rave Soul Collective (BSC) is proud to present "Brave Soul 20: The Anniversary Performance " on Saturday February 7th, 2026 at Sitar Arts Center (in NW Washington, DC) from 8pm - 10pm in honor of BSC's twenty year anniversary as a vital arts, education, and outreach organization which focuses on HIV/AIDS outreach & prevention as well as issues affecting the lives of Black LGBTQ people through the performing and healing arts.

Brave Soul 20 happens on Saturday February 7th, also in observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD), to focus on the significant HIV/AIDS impact on Black communities in the U.S., encouraging testing, education, treatment, and ending stigma through community engagement and awareness campaigns.

"Brave Soul 20" (which also serves as a special BSC fundraising event) will include an evening of exciting theatrical performances, monologues & a post show discussion.

We hope to have you join us for a night of theatre, education, community & celebration!

Brave Soul Collective (BSC) is a Washington, DC based multi-disciplinary arts, education, and HIV/AIDS outreach organization working to illuminate the lives of LGBTQIA people of color through the performing and healing arts. BSC aims to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS, by serving as a platform for open and honest discussion about prevention, stigma, and personal responsibility. In addition to our stand alone productions, community discussions, and artist features, BSC regularly performs and presents workshops at HIV/AIDS conferences, as well as various LGBTQIA Pride, & community events.
