Brittany Woodard is a native of Atlanta, Ga. She received her Bachelors of Science from Tennessee State University, where she studied both Communications and Psychology. As an undergraduate, she became a Reiki Master. She is a graduate of Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, Arizona where she obtained a Masters in Oriental Medicine which includes Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is also a certified Holistic Nutritionist.
Brittany is an avid researcher and has a passion for learning. This passion has persuaded her to continue her studies on a doctoral level. She strongly believes the job of a physician is to give the body the materials it needs to heal itself and that is what she does. She incorporates acupuncture with eastern herbal medicine and both eastern and western nutrition to create a complete and unique healing system for her patients.
Brittany specializes in pain management, digestive health, rheumatoid arthritis as well as anxiety and depression.
In her spare time she enjoys reading comic books, hiking, hanging out with friends and family, traveling and helping underserved communities. She has been able to combine her love for international travel, acupuncture and serving underserved communities by annually volunteering on medical mission trips to providing free acupuncture to developing countries.
