Since 2003, C3 Korean Canadian Society has been the heart of community building in Burnaby, BC, bringing together passionate volunteers committed to supporting and inspiring the Korean-Canadian community. This non-profit, non-partisan organization operates entirely through volunteer effort, with a dedicated Board of Directors guiding initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity, develop positive role models, and encourage civic participation. At its core, C3 embodies the values of volunteerism and professional development, creating meaningful opportunities for community members to connect, learn, and grow together. The organization's approach is deeply personal—recognizing that strong communities are built through relationships and shared commitment. From Camp Korea and the Leadership Conference to intimate minglers and collaborative community events, C3 creates spaces where Korean-Canadians can find belonging, develop leadership skills, and contribute their talents. The organization's flexibility in welcoming both ongoing volunteers and those interested in specific projects reflects its understanding that community service looks different for everyone. With 15 years of grassroots engagement in Burnaby, C3 has become more than just an organization—it's a network of 100+ volunteers united by a mission to strengthen the Korean-Canadian community through cultural celebration, educational advancement, and genuine human connection.
