About Canadian Federation of University Women Calgary North
The CFUW Calgary North is a non-profit organization. We welcome all women (not only university graduates) interested in pursuing fellowship, education and social justice – particularly focusing on improving the current situation of women and children. Members have opportunities to be active in the Calgary local community, as well as provincially and nationally.
We are a multi-cultural group of like-minded post-secondary educated women who get together for fun, self improvement and activities that can make a difference in our communities. Through various initiatives and with our diverse backgrounds, we strive to create a better world and a more just society.
CFUW Calgary North meets the needs of our members, as well as the larger community in several ways. Through CFUW, one can participate in many activities and contribute to resolving issues such as those relating to education, health, social justice, or the environment at a local, national and International level.
