For over 60 years, CFUW Kelowna has been building a community of engaged women dedicated to creating a world where poverty is reduced, discrimination is eliminated, and equal opportunities exist for all. Originally founded as the University Women's Club of Kelowna in 1960, this organization has evolved to welcome women from all educational backgrounds who share a passion for advocacy, education, and community support. Based in Kelowna, BC, the local chapter is part of a larger national movement that brings together educated women to foster friendships, engage in meaningful conversations, and collectively work toward systemic change that benefits women and girls.
