SEE A DANCE SHOWCASE! The Evening Showcase and Concert Series ticket begins with a spectacular 8:00 PM Dance Showcase featuring professional global and regional artists delivering Latin dance infused choreography. Enjoy a celebration of the timeless and ageless Latin, Afro-Latin and Afro-Caribbean dance culture. Watch the rising stars in our Emerging Artist Showcases presented in the matinee production on Saturday and Sunday at 4:00PM.
ENJOY LIVE MUSIC CONCERTS! Our Live Music Concert Series in the Grand Ballroom each night features Latin Music giants and highly acclaimed regional musicians performing for all ages.
DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY! Check out the special Opening Night festivities including our annual Rueda Summit! Friday through Sunday enjoy social dancing in three Ballrooms! The energy is unbelievable and the music will have you on your feet all night long!

The mission of the Chicago International Salsa Congress is to unite cultures and generations, engender leadership through empowerment opportunities in its showcase and to keep alive the history of the many cultures’ contributions to the creation and evolution of Latin, Afro-Latin and Afro-Caribbean music and dance. The Chicago International Salsa Congress is brought to you by a special group of dedicated individuals whose energy, skills, passion and perseverance unite to bring you the number one Latin Music and Dance event in the Midwest! Over the past 30 years, Cultural Expressions Productions, and the Chicago Intercultural Alliance founded by Rosita and Saladeen Alamin, have created and nurtured a multicultural and multi-generational community celebrating Afro-Latin music and dance. This group’s unwavering support of the community through consistent production of exceptional events that included fund raisers for children with HIV. They produced the first all ages inclusive event for 15 years, “Sizzling Mambo Sundays” at the Presidential Towers. Deeply committed to uniting cultures, Cultural Expressions supports, mentors, and uplifts both emerging and established artists while celebrating the origins and history of Latin and Afro-Latin music and dance through the salsa congress concept.
