China-U.S. Women's Foundation

Founded in 2017, the China-U.S. Women's Foundation emerged from a vision to build meaningful bridges between women in China and the United States through sustained dialogue and collaborative action. Operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in New York, NY, the organization was established on the conviction that 800 million women across both nations possess the power to positively transform the world when engaged in steady, productive conversation. The foundation's mission reflects a deep commitment to helping women thrive and achieve their full potential by addressing interconnected challenges related to health, creative expression, gender equality, and educational access. What distinguishes the China-U.S. Women's Foundation is its unique bicultural approach to women's empowerment. The organization recognizes that wellness, success, and personal fulfillment are viewed differently across cultures, and it leverages this understanding to create more holistic, culturally-informed support systems. The foundation brings together a diverse community of mentors, professionals, and emerging leaders who share a passion for advancing women's causes. Beyond traditional programming, CUSWF fosters genuine relationships and mentorship connections that extend across industries, geographic boundaries, and generational lines. The organization's commitment to experiential learning, combined with its focus on mental health, peace-building, and financial wellness education, reflects a comprehensive understanding of what women need to flourish. By creating spaces for connection, learning, and mutual support—whether through events, internships, podcasts, or mentorship initiatives—the China-U.S. Women's Foundation embodies the belief that when women help each other, incredible things happen.
