Founded on the principle of empowering Asian Pacific Americans through collective action, OCA Colorado carries forward a mission established over 50 years ago by the national Organization of Chinese Americans. Serving the Denver, Colorado community and surrounding regions, this organization embraces the hopes and aspirations of API residents by creating meaningful opportunities for civic participation, education, and community leadership. OCA Colorado recognizes that strong communities are built through direct engagement—whether that means developing local leaders who can advocate for their neighbors, organizing community members around shared values, or implementing charitable programs that address real needs. The organization operates with a commitment to focusing exclusively on the welfare and civil rights of Asian Pacific Americans within the United States, avoiding entanglement in foreign politics while remaining steadfast in its domestic advocacy.
