About Clyde Guilamo

Clyde Guilamo is a compassionate lawyer that treats all of his clients as family. He started his legal career as a prosecutor, serving in Cook, Kankakee, and DeKalb County as an Assistant State's Attorney. He has also served as an assistant public defender in Kendall County. In 2017, he started his own law firm helping homeowners pay less in property taxes by filing appeals to the board of review. In 2022, he went from parttime to fulltime, adding the practice areas of criminal defense, traffic, family, and real estate. As the son of immigrants from the Dominican Republic, Clyde speaks fluent Spanish and has been a voice for an under-represented population in the legal community.
