Coalition of Labor Union Women York - Adams White Rose
About Coalition of Labor Union Women York - Adams White Rose
Serving the East Berlin, PA community, the Coalition of Labor Union Women York - Adams White Rose chapter represents a powerful grassroots movement rooted in nearly five decades of advocacy and solidarity. Founded in 1974, the Coalition of Labor Union Women emerged as America's only national organization dedicated exclusively to unifying union women and amplifying their collective voice within the labor movement. This nonpartisan organization was established with four core objectives that continue to guide its work today: empowering women for greater participation at all levels in labor unions, organizing unorganized workers, promoting affirmative action and workplace justice, and increasing women's participation in political and legislative processes. The East Berlin chapter embodies these founding principles by creating a supportive community where union women can connect, organize, and advocate for meaningful change. Members speak out together on issues affecting working families, from equal pay and job security to healthcare access and protection from workplace harassment. The chapter fosters relationships among members while building collective power to address shared challenges and concerns. By joining the Coalition of Labor Union Women in East Berlin, members become part of a national network of dedicated women working to transform workplaces and communities. The organization's commitment to social and economic justice, combined with its focus on building women's leadership, makes it an essential resource for union women throughout the region seeking to make a difference in their workplaces and beyond.
