Commercial Real Estate Women Network Silicon Valley
About Commercial Real Estate Women Network Silicon Valley
Founded in 1981 by five women in commercial property management, Commercial Real Estate Women Network Silicon Valley has grown from a grassroots initiative into a transformative force in the commercial real estate industry. Operating from Lawrence, KS, this organization has evolved through several name changes—from South Bay Property Manager's Association to its current identity—reflecting its expanding mission and membership. Today, with 140 dedicated members, CREW Silicon Valley remains steadfastly committed to advancing all women in commercial real estate through business networking, leadership development, career outreach, and industry research. The organization joined CREW Network in 1994, gaining access to a global community of over 13,500 members dedicated to transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women. CREW Silicon Valley's mission pillars emphasize facilitating business networking and dealmaking, building effective leaders through comprehensive development programs, expanding opportunities for women and girls entering the field, and contributing to industry-wide research on gender and diversity. The organization actively works alongside CREW Network Foundation to support college-level education through scholarships and offers mentorships to those new to the industry. By fostering an inclusive community rooted in professional ethics and integrity, CREW Silicon Valley continues its 40-year legacy of empowering women to achieve success and influence the future of commercial real estate.
