The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Washington, DC (DCNPHC), officially installed in 1946, continues to celebrate triumphs and confront challenges in the nation’s capital. Serving as the coordinating body for seventeen active chapters representing the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations, DCNPHC operates under the auspices of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Inc., founded in 1930 and collectively known as the “Divine Nine.” For nearly eight decades, DCNPHC has upheld a tradition of legacy-building, collaborative partnerships, and civic engagement—strengthening its member organizations while advancing initiatives that uplift communities, advocate for equity, and cultivate future leadership across generations in Washington, DC.
