Florida Chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives
The Florida Chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) was chartered in 1990 to educate and develop minority healthcare leaders. While in conjunction with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), promoting C-Suite diversity for Healthcare Organizations throughout the Tri-County Area (Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade) of South Florida. NAHSE's purpose is to ensure greater participation of minority groups in the health field. Its basic objective is to develop and maintain a strong viable national body to more effectively have input in the national health care delivery system. It has provided a vehicle for Blacks to effectively participate in the design, direction and delivery of quality health care to all people. In health care, it is essential that current and future health professionals align themselves with organizations like the National Association of Health Services Executives that help to connect health professionals across the country. By becoming a member of NAHSE, you can actively participate in enhancing your career. NAHSE strives to serve as a vehicle by which minority health care leaders can help improve the health status, economic opportunities, and educational advancement of the communities we serve.
