About East-West Connections
East-West Connections, formerly known as RABCC, is a community-based organization serving Falcon Heights, Minnesota and beyond with a mission to build bridges of understanding between American citizens and the peoples of Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Baltics. Founded on the principle that personal relationships and direct engagement can create lasting peace and cooperation, the organization believes that every conversation and connection contributes to greater goodwill among nations.
Serving the Falcon Heights community and Minnesota residents, East-West Connections recognizes that in an increasingly interconnected world shaped by trade, climate change, travel, pandemics, and global communication systems, informed relationships with citizens across the globe have never been more important. The organization welcomes individuals and groups interested in learning about and engaging with diverse cultures and perspectives from Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Baltics.
Through its programming, East-West Connections nurtures compassion and respect by supporting local communities and encouraging meaningful involvement in international exchange. The organization creates platforms for dialogue where individuals can share stories, cultures, and ideas while building genuine relationships across borders. By focusing on Track II diplomacy—informal, non-governmental dialogue—East-West Connections empowers citizens to participate actively in shaping more inclusive and understanding international relations, celebrating different viewpoints and experiences as pathways to positive change.
