Filipino American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts
About Filipino American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts
Founded in 2020 by Jennifer Coliflores, Amy Pimentel, Eric Greenberg, and Joseph Coliflores, the Filipino American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts emerged from a shared vision to strengthen connections within the Filipino legal community. FALA Mass was established to create a meaningful network for Filipino American members of the legal profession, judiciary, and broader community in Boston and throughout Massachusetts—a space where ideas, experiences, and professional insights could be freely exchanged and celebrated.
At its core, FALA Mass is built on the belief that community and professional growth go hand in hand. The organization brings together lawyers, judges, and legal professionals who share Filipino heritage, creating an inclusive environment where members can support one another's career development while fostering greater diversity within the legal profession. By connecting individuals across different practice areas and career stages, FALA Mass cultivates a sense of belonging and mutual support that extends beyond traditional professional networking.
As an affiliate of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association, FALA Mass connects Boston's Filipino legal community to a broader national movement dedicated to advancing Filipino American representation in law. The organization regularly convenes members through social events, professional development opportunities, and community gatherings that celebrate both professional achievement and cultural identity. FALA Mass remains committed to its foundational mission: building a strong, supportive network that empowers Filipino American legal professionals while advancing diversity and inclusion across Massachusetts's legal profession.
