Based in Tampa, Florida, the Florida Association of LGBT Lawyers & Allies, Inc. represents a collaborative movement of legal professionals united in promoting equality and advancing LGBT leadership within the legal profession and judiciary. Established in 2014 as a statewide joint effort, FALLA evolved from the recognition that LGBT attorneys throughout Florida needed a unified voice to strengthen and expand the work of regional voluntary bar associations. The organization's mission extends beyond professional networking to actively champion lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and gender expression equality at every level of the legal system. FALLA is committed to introducing members of the LGBT community to the legal system and helping them navigate forms, procedures, and issues specific to their experiences and concerns.
