Dr. Goldwaser is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a broad range of experience. He earned Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Psychology from Colorado State University. He also completed a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Fellowship at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine and an American Psychological Association (APA) Internship in Clinical Psychology at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. Following internship, he went on to complete postdoctoral residency training in Clinical Psychology at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Dr. Goldwaser provides professional support to adults looking to make positive changes in their lives and he uses an accepting, but direct and practical style to generate change in people. He can help those who are motivated to overcome barriers to living a happier, more productive, and enjoyable life. Dr. Goldwaser has expertise in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, personal growth, and life transitions. Dr. Goldwaser was born in Costa Rica and raised in Miami, Florida. He lives an active lifestyle in northern San Diego where he enjoys surfing and swimming in the Pacific Ocean.
