Gamma Chapter of Chi Sigma Tau National Fraternity, Inc.

Chi Sigma Tau's Gamma Chapter represents a thriving brotherhood community serving the Champaign, Illinois area since its chartering in 2006 by eight dedicated founding members who established a legacy of excellence. What began as a single chapter has evolved into a national organization with eight strong chapters and over 400 brothers, all united by shared commitment to brotherhood, scholarship, and community service.

The organization welcomes men from all backgrounds who embrace its values, despite its proud focus on Asian culture and heritage. Chi Sigma Tau operates as an inclusive community that celebrates diversity while maintaining its distinctive identity as a traditional social fraternity. Members experience a transformative journey from their undergraduate years through lifelong alumni participation, creating meaningful connections that extend far beyond college.

At its heart, Gamma Chapter's mission centers on developing leaders through courage, strength, and trust. These core values shape how members navigate challenges, support one another through adversity, and build a resilient collective. The fraternity believes that true strength emerges from unity and that trust forms the foundation of genuine brotherhood—principles that guide everything from formal social events to the serious business of running a chapter.

The chapter demonstrates its community commitment through active involvement with the Alzheimer's Association, recognizing that brotherhood extends beyond fraternity lines. Members volunteer at community events, host fundraising competitions, and support research initiatives aimed at combating dementia. Based at the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign, Gamma Chapter continues the legacy established by its founders, proving that a fraternity can be both a social organization and a force for meaningful community impact.
