Since its origins as the Volksfest Association of Minnesota, the German American Institute has evolved into an internationally-minded nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people across generations and cultures through the celebration of German language and heritage. Based in Saint Paul, MN, the GAI believes that multilingualism creates better world citizens and operates with a commitment to community building, education, and social responsibility.
