Since 1934, the German Heritage Society has served as the cultural heart of Seattle, WA's German-speaking community. What began as a simple acquisition of a historic 1885 building on Ninth Avenue has evolved into a thriving non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the legacy of German immigrants and their descendants. The Society's mission centers on preserving the language, customs, and traditions of German-speaking peoples while fostering genuine relationships and goodwill among community members throughout the Pacific Northwest.
