About Greater Dayton Realtist Association
The Greater Dayton Realtist Association stands as the local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), representing a proud legacy of service to the Dayton, Ohio community since NAREB's founding as the oldest national trade association for Black Americans. GDRA's mission centers on promoting 'Democracy in Housing' by advocating for underserved populations through education, leadership, and community service. The organization envisions a thriving Dayton community built on accessible and equitable real estate opportunities for all. Members, known as REALTISTS, unite around shared values and the REALTIST creed, working together to ensure fair housing practices and community empowerment. While principally composed of African American and minority real estate professionals, GDRA welcomes all qualified practitioners who embrace the ideals of fair housing and community advocacy. The association creates meaningful connections among professionals who share a commitment to social responsibility and equitable access to housing. Through annual events, educational initiatives, and advocacy work, GDRA members demonstrate their dedication to serving the underserved populations of Dayton and surrounding communities. The organization provides a supportive community where real estate professionals can grow their expertise, build relationships, and contribute to positive change in the greater Dayton area.
