Founded in 1947, the Greater Toledo Realtist Association represents a legacy of equal housing opportunity and community empowerment in Toledo, Ohio. GTRA is a chartered chapter of NAREB, the oldest minority trade association in America, built on the foundational principle that all citizens deserve equal access to housing regardless of race, creed, or color. Our mission centers on enhancing the economic improvement of our members while strengthening the communities we serve throughout the Toledo area. GTRA serves as a unified voice for African Americans, underserved populations, and real estate professionals who share our commitment to housing democracy and dignified treatment for all. With over 90 NAREB chapters nationwide, we're part of a movement that champions professional integrity while maintaining a special charge to ensure communities of color receive respect and fair treatment in real estate transactions. The association brings together Northwest Ohio professionals who believe in the power of collaboration and ethical business practices. Our founders paved the way for GTRA to receive its official charter, establishing a supportive infrastructure designed to create positive influence in the Ohio real estate market.
