Houston HBCU Alumni Association, Incorporated is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization. It is a consortium of Houston area based alumni from historically black colleges and universities that are located throughout the country. The association’s prior name was the Houston Coalition of Black Alumni Associations, Inc. which was incorporated on December 1,1986 and gained its 501 c (3) tax exempt status on April 17,1990.
