About Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers
Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers is a chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers in Hillsborough County, FL. We have built a powerful and supportive network of attorneys dedicated to giving women a voice in our justice system.
HAWL's mission is to be a diverse, inclusive organization dedicated to promoting gender equality in the legal profession & under the law.
Since its inception in 1981 and its subsequent incorporation in 1991, HAWL has promoted and recognized the contributions of women within the legal profession and judiciary, improved the administration of justice, disseminated legal knowledge to all members of the community and particularly to women, and improved relations among members of the Bar, the Judiciary and the public.
