About Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Salt Lake City
The Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Salt Lake City represents the consular, commercial, and cultural interests of the Czech Republic in the State of Utah.
Consular:
The honorary consulate provides a range of consular services to Czech citizens by appointment including signature verification and notarization services, translation verification, passport pick-up, issuance of emergency documents, photocopy verification, etc.
Commercial:
The honorary consulate helps facilitate trade and business opportunities for Utah and Czech companies across the full spectrum of industry. Of particular focus is Utah’s world-renowned Silicon Slopes technology ecosystem.
Cultural:
The honorary consulate is responsible for the promotion of Czech culture in the State of Utah. Among other things, the honorary consulate has worked with the Salt Lake Film Society for over 10 years to present the annual Czech That Film festival. The honorary consulate also works closely with the Czech and Slovak School of Utah to provide language and cultural education opportunities for school-age children in Utah.
