Hudson Pride Center stands as a home and voice for Jersey City's diverse LGBTQ community and their allies, rooted in over 30 years of dedicated service and advocacy. Founded in the early 1990s by visionary activists during the AIDS crisis, the organization emerged to provide safety and support when few others in Hudson County were willing to serve the LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS communities. Today, Hudson Pride Center continues this legacy as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that goes beyond individual support to transform entire communities through social and economic justice initiatives. Located in Jersey City, one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the country and home to New Jersey's largest LGBTQ population, Hudson Pride Center creates safe and affirming spaces where people gather, celebrate their lives, and build connections.
