About Hungarian Cultural Alliance
Founded in 2013, the Hungarian Cultural Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Hungarian heritage and to promoting appreciation of Hungarian culture in Southern California.
The Hungarian Cultural Alliance’s headquarters are located at “Magtar” (in English Granary or Seed Depot). “Magtar” has become widely known for hosting a variety of events ranging from dance parties and concerts to family events, including jazz and classical music concerts with well-known Hungarian artists, theater, comedy shows, Carnival with retro DJs, Spring Festival, the annual Children's Day and Santa Claus events, Summer Solstice festival, remembrance of 100th anniversary of the breakout of World War I, Tanchaz, to name a few.
