About Indo-American Community Services
Founded in 2010 by Chicago-area professionals who recognized a critical need, Indo-American Community Services has grown into a vital force for workplace diversity and professional empowerment across the nation. Operating from Aurora, IL, this national nonprofit emerged from a simple but powerful vision: connecting talented candidates with employers genuinely committed to building diverse teams. What began as a local initiative has evolved into a comprehensive professional networking platform that educates, inspires, and empowers diverse leaders throughout the United States. The organization believes that diversity strengthens organizations and communities, and it works tirelessly to create spaces where South Asian professionals and other underrepresented groups can develop their leadership potential. Through its four signature programs—including a dedicated South Asian Woman's Conference, Leadership Intern Program, Diversity Job Fairs, and Professional Networking Conferences—Indo-American Community Services fosters meaningful relationships and professional growth. The organization is more than a networking hub; it's a community dedicated to dismantling barriers and creating opportunities for historically underrepresented professionals. By serving Aurora and beyond, Indo-American Community Services continues its mission to transform workplaces into more inclusive, equitable environments where diverse talent thrives and contributes fully to organizational success.
