Ink & Intention is a curated creative gathering for Black lesbians and queer Black women who find joy, healing, and liberation through writing.

Whether you write poetry, journal your thoughts, craft short stories, work on a manuscript, or simply want to reconnect with your voice, this event was created with you in mind.

This is more than a writing event—it is a safe, affirming space for like-minded individuals to create, reflect, and build genuine community without judgment. We recognize the importance of spaces where Black queer women can show up fully as themselves and be surrounded by others who understand the power of storytelling, self-expression, and collective healing.

Who is this for?

This event is intended for Black lesbians, sapphic Black women, and queer Black women who love writing in any form—from experienced authors to people who haven’t written in years but want to start again.
