Interfaith Iftar 2026
About Interfaith Iftar 2026
“Seek knowledge from cradle to grave.” - Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him)
Masjid Al Hayy is holding our Annual Interfaith Iftar for Ramadhan on February 28th, 2026. Iftar, the time when Muslims break their fast during Ramadhan, is a cherished moment of reflection and togetherness.
This event provides a unique opportunity to discover the meaning of Ramadhan, engage with people from diverse backgrounds, and enjoy a warm, delicious meal in good company.
We would love for you to have a part in our endeavor of building friendship and constructing unity throughout the wider community. For any questions you may have, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
Please note that dinner will be served at sundown, which marks the end of the fast.
We kindly request you to dress modestly.

Masjid Al Hayy
Masjid Al Hayy is more than a place of worship. Since our opening, we have come to be known as an organization built on strong interfaith relations, cross-cultural understanding, and service to one and all. The masjid is committed to preserving an Islamic identity, building and supporting a viable Shia community, promoting a comprehensive Islamic way of life-based on the Holy Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad(s) and his Progeny (Ahlulbayt). Muslims of all ethnicities and backgrounds are welcome here to pray, socialize and learn. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of religious, educational, and social services to our entire community as well as support and promote a comprehensive Islamic way of life as outlined in the Holy Quran, and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and his progeny (Ahlulbayt). We actively engage and contribute towards strengthening the bonds between Muslims and Non-Muslims alike by establishing a united community through effective interfaith partnerships, dialogue and fostering respect within Seminole County and the broader Central Florida region.
