El Clasificado

El Clasificado is a free classifieds website that was originally launched in 1996 to serve the Spanish-speaking community in California who were already reading the print publication of El Clasificado, which was created in 1988 by Martha de la Torre and Joe Badame. As the Hispanic population grew in the U.S., digital technology was rapidly adopted, and with the arrival of cell phones, El Clasificado expanded its free advertising services to achieve a presence throughout the country where Latino communities exist. Today, El Clasificado provides its services to all 50 states of the United States, including major metropolitan areas with large Hispanic populations such as Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties in California; Miami and Orlando in Florida; the New York and New Jersey subways; the Houston and Dallas subways in Texas; the Chicago subway in Illinois; Atlanta and Sandy Springs in Georgia; and Washington, D.C. and Arlington in Virginia and Maryland. The strong and rapidly growing Latino communities in Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, and states like Iowa, Louisiana, South Dakota, South Carolina, and Tennessee also benefit from El Clasificado's extensive platform. El Clasificado serves over 100 Latino markets across the United States, receiving more than 2 million monthly visits and 25 million page views as of December 2017. To enable e-commerce among Latino Americans, their friends and family in Latin America, El Clasificado has expanded its platform to also serve the growing digital markets in Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, and all other major online communities seeking online advertising opportunities related to classifieds.
