Since 1929, Kappa Kappa Gamma's Gamma Chi Chapter has been an integral part of the George Washington University community in Washington, DC, establishing itself as the oldest sorority on campus. Founded by six visionary women in 1920 who sought to expand women's leadership opportunities at GW, the chapter received its official charter in 1929 and has maintained a steadfast commitment to its members ever since.
