Founded in 1996 by twenty-four visionary women at California State University, Long Beach, Kappa Psi Epsilon has grown into a multi-campus sisterhood with chapters throughout California, including the Delta Chapter at the University of California - Los Angeles. The organization's expansion reflects its strong foundation and the meaningful impact it creates in the lives of its members and communities.

At its core, Kappa Psi Epsilon is a Pilipinx-based sorority that celebrates and honors the rich history, culture, and experiences of Pilipinx and Pilipinx-American communities. The sorority serves as a vital space where members explore their cultural identity, learn from collective wisdom gained through past struggles and triumphs, and build connections rooted in shared heritage and values.

The Los Angeles chapter embodies the organization's commitment to holistic member development through five interconnected pillars: Academics, Community Action, Culture, Social Networking, and Sisterhood. These cornerstones work together to create an environment where women can discover their internal strength, develop leadership capabilities, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
