Founded on April 26th, 1975, at Vanderbilt University by visionary leaders Brother Floyd Jones and the late Brother Zenoch Adams, the chapter was established with a clear mission: to create a brotherhood grounded in scholarship and excellence.
The chapter's foundation was built by twelve remarkable young men known as the Genesis 12, who established Alpha Phi Alpha's presence on Vanderbilt's campus.
