Founded in 1898 by nine young women at Virginia State Female Normal School who sought to formalize their friendship through a secret candlelit gathering, Zeta Tau Alpha has grown into one of the nation's most established and respected women's fraternities. The Lambda Iota Chapter at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN continues this legacy of sisterhood, welcoming exceptional women into a community built on genuine connection and shared values.
